Eliminate long hours of waiting in the airport terminals and spend more long weekends and holidays aboard your yacht. At private airports you can drive up to your aircraft, board directly and be airborne within minutes, on your way to your destination.

The Citation XLS is fast (Cessna reports 493 miles per hour) and the XLS+Plus is faster, larger, boasts a flying range of over 2,100 non-stop nm, and is equipped with the very latest avionics. Usually featured with seating for eight passengers, certified seating for nine can be configured with a belted divan.

Because it delivers more power, the aircraft has a much faster climb time, reaching altitude and leveling off sooner so passengers can move about the cabin, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres or brunch can be served. Quicker climb and landing times encourage stopovers along the way to pick up additional friends or family members or spontaneous visits to exotic locales along the way.

While airborne, there is complete world-wide communications for business matters, confirmations for transportation on arrival at the airport or conversations with the yacht crew or captain regarding estimated arrival time or cast off instructions and last minute arrangements for the cruise.

Once you land, your aircraft can usually stay with you because you are not on a charter time schedule. You have the freedom to change your mind, change your itinerary or even change your clothes. Travelers arrive refreshed in attire suitable to the occasion or climate.

While the XLS is more expensive than the slightly smaller Citation Bravo, it is our choice for leisure travel when a large yet light jet is desired. The actual operating costs compare surprisingly well with the smaller crafts and, with proper management and full capacity, the XLS can prove to be an economical and enjoyable choice.

Furthermore, the overall expenses are greatly reduced as they are shared among co-owners and the XLS has the reputation as a first-class aircraft highly desired for charter when owners have not scheduled flights.

Because it's a private flight, children can be entertained and cared for, pets easily accommodated and luggage assured proper handling. You arrive much less traumatized and without disappointments over lost pets or luggage.
